Yes, we get ESPN through out basic Virgin package.

ESPN and ESPN classic are both on my Virgin package , just after the, my ex girlfriends and XXX mums channels but neither have the game in their schedule.

Calm down dear!
But seriously you can change the commentry language to English!
You could also sign up to ESPN!

I will sound like an old git, but here goes.

REALITY CHECK

Back in the day....we would have had a local radio 'sports special' which consisted of 3 telephone 60 second reports per half from a Welsh local radio guy who knew very few Brighton players names nor how to pronounce them, interspersed with features about angling or table tennis, and Neil Diamond or John Denver records filling the rest of the time. We would have teletext on a 'loop' when you had to wait for it to click around every 2-3 minutes to see if the score had changed.

Tonight, most people have free TV coverage of the whole game, with the ability to sync local radio full commentary, and if they can be bothered to go to the pub and drink beer, on a big screen with full commentary and punditry.

My heart bleeds for you dig54.

lol im not really THAT pissed off guys! i can still watch it thats the main thing. dont exactly have any commentary at the Amex do we! just crowd noise! the fact you can change the commentary to english is a nice touch though!

I have ESPN on my virgin thing and we only get freeview! So im guessing everyone who has a virgin box has ESPN for a month or something...

sometimes tricky to synch sound on PC/radio and TV
so would be good to have a english commentary option if available

from S4C website:

Morgan Jones presents Wrexham v Brighton in the company of John Hartson and Dai Davies, with commentary and analysis from Dylan Ebenezer and Malcolm Allen.

Just clicked Offers section (My Sky - Upgrade - Offers) and I was offered 2 months free ESPN - If I was so inclined I could also have had Chelsea TV at half price for 3 months or MUTV at £3 for the 1st 3 months).

I have taken the £9 per month deal with SKY for ESPN. You can give immediate notice to the guy on the telephone to cancel in 31 days. Effectively that's the Wrexham game (and Newcastle game) for a one-off £9. Probably not the cheapest option but guaranteed not to be shouted at in Welsh all night.
