WAGN - We Are Going Nowhere with players like Currie, FFS he was useless and Mayo was given no direction over what he should have been doing.

On a train...
Nobody in V Block could work out what happened for the first goal. All of a sudden the Plymouth players were celebrating, and it seemed a goal had been given.

Can anyone please tell me what happened, as I have no idea.

On a train...
Also, I thought Currie and Nicolas both looked utter shite. Jarrett looked good, Molango had no service whatsoever, and Mayo ran around like a headless chicken.

Just got in - Poor performance all round.

People were slating the linesman for giving the first goal but where was the marking from the free kick for f***'s sake !

It took us until the 83rd minute AT HOME to manage our only shot of the night on goal - take a bow Jakey.

Jarrett looked half decent
Molango tried hard but can't head a ball to save his life and had no support whatsoever.
Nicolas showed a few nice touches - but was too lightweight against the more physical Argyle midfielders.
And as for Currie - utter sh....

To be fair to Currie, Harding had a mare, Mayo was useless, and Virgo looked like he was still playing for Exeter.

4-5-1 formation at home - I don't think so. What was MM thinking.
We need Chippy back desperately, and we have got to sign a big target man for the others to play off - especially if we're going to hoof it a lot like we did tonight.

Still can't believe I only saw 1 shot on target by us in 95mins of playing time.

Roll on Saturday - it can't get any worse.

On NSC for over two decades...
One of those days really, but not all bad.

I had an excellent view of the two major incidents in the match. The first goal definitely crossed the line, flukey but there you go. The penalty should not have been given though, it was a blatant dive and the Plymouth player should have been booked. It ended any hope of the Albion getting back in the game, which is a shame because it came at the end of their best spell of the match. At one nil the Albion had shown enough to indicate that they could get back into the match, but the penalty ended that likelihood.

The midfield was our achilles heel today as it didn't give the protection to the defence that the Oatway and Carpenter partnership usually does, and didn't pick up enough of the late runners. Having said that I thought they looked better than on Saturday. Nicolas has a bit of tenacity about him, Jarrett looks exciting, and Currie was more involved than on Saturday and was solid on the ball.

I was suprised that Mayo was put in midfield, and I think it would have been better to have swapped him and Harding over.

Kuipers had an excellent game, dealt with all the crosses and generally commanded his area, deserved his Man of the Match award.

As for the formation, it is difficult to query it too much as we won two Championships with it. I would have preferred to see a 4-4-2, although I'm not sure Robinson is up to 90 minutes just yet.

Have a bit of patience, things will gel.
