Bad attitude for a "helpful moderator". I wonder what the unhelpful ones are like?
I'd say keeping this board clear of plastic Mickeys desperately seeking tickets in the home end is very helpful, bearing in mind some of the ticket threads going on today. It's not my problem if someone who wasn't being replied to or in any way engaged took it upon himself to take offence to a fairly obvious f*** off. This thread is three pages shorter without that.

No one has time to check every single new member isn't going to do this. Some may choose to ban them when they out themselves, I prefer to give them a hard time.

There's general piss taking and then there are jibes related to events where people lost their lives. Two very very different things ...

And talking of biting ... you do it quite a lot!!
Maybe I am missing it, but I have not seen anything that seems to be aimed this way? The Liverpool Season tickets belonging to men aged 125 was a well reported story a few years ago, I think we can safely assume these gentlemen are actually deceased, and someone else has been using the ticket.

Exactly. Bloke with family from Liverpool complains about characterisation of Liverpudlians with over sensitivity and mawkishness. You couldn't make it up.

All well and good but you should still be careful about goading and using inflammatory language if you’re a mod.

I'm sorry, but I think you are missing it. I have not commented on the deceased STH issue. I just raised concerns over some posts on here which looked very much like Hillsborough tropes ... and I copied a couple to our 'favourite' mod as he'd obviously missed them (or was just blind to them).

Maybe you should apply to be a moderator instead of trying to boss him about, he’s a fan like.
Can’t say I’ve seen him post anything really nasty to anyone on here.

Come clean, hating Liverpool and Liverpudlians is your big nsc thing. Admit that. That's why you love it when @Guinness Boy or anyone else slags them off, the tropes.

Do you swarm around ManC, Spurs or Arsenal threads slagging off their supporters at every opportunity?

I have had a quick look through again and can't spot them, there is a bit of the Liverpool fans being dishonest/thieving/scammers trope, which you could reasonably take issue with, but if you are sure Hillsborough references are there, could you point them out to me? I consider myself fairly woke but I can be offensive, I just want to make sure I am not going to offend anyone in a way I don't intend to.

It is:

"something Scousers are not used to.....................join the queue and get in legally".

Couldn't be clearer, but no doubt the poster will concoct a lie.

The one below is clearly a reference to Hillsborough. I'm not the only one to think that. Have a look at @Weststander 's post #87

And this one references the 'always the victim' trope ... again linked to Hillsborough.

Hang on, I posted I bought an excellent book by Liverpool fans about 1/2 hour back, post #79 if you missed it.

I definitely DO NOT hate the people of Liverpool or proper Liverpool fans from Merseyside.

Hands up I do not like plastic Liverpool fans that live in Sussex, slag off the Albion and have never been to Anfield …….guilty as charged :moo:

@Bozza Why is it acceptable for a moderator to constantly say stupid, offensive and comments you'd only expect from a 13yo internet troll on this forum and we have no option to block as they are somehow a mod? It doesn't make sense at all?

Not at all he takes all the trolls of the board like that Swedish fella to task whilst everyone else is pandering to his shite. Before every game against the Liverpool’s and Manchester clubs we get random one post supposed Brighton fans begging for tickets.

That's surprising. Whenever there's an anti scouser thread with tropes, you're part of the nsc possie (6 blokes?) who sniffs it out within minutes. Going way beyond Liverpool fans sitting in the other three stands.

Whilst next to nothing is said about Gooner plastics, Gooners sneaking in, or roaring on Arteta's players in televised games on the concourses.

OK, but I didn't make that link myself, just the dishonesty trope for me.
