Yes - that is certainly true - Adams said as much after the Currie deal failed.

It all adds up to one of the most exciting pre-seasons for log time. The 2 previous ones that were similar were Adams first pre-season and the one before the 1987-88 season under Barry Lloyd, when we signed the likes of Garry Nelson, Kevin Bremner, Paul Wood, Doug Rougvie etc.

Very pleasant evening in Leigh Park

I thought we knocked the ball around pretty well, helped by H&W playing 4-3-3 in the first half.

Forster looked very lively and Dean Cox was running like a MADMAN

Apart from the comedy moment, Sullivan did well with a couple of good saves.

Looks to be building up nicely.

Having finally 'got the joke' I retract my post above. I don't think that Mrs Gully and Junior Gully will improve our squad much. :angry:
