Hmmm, I guess if you dont take the chequered flag at the end? I dont really know, would be quite good for a bit of support after the initial 70 miles?


If I can be any help 'leading out' when you're getting tired I'm happy to come up to Newick (I live in Lewes) and do the last bit with you. And quite right, I would be keen to hang back at the finish - I'll be less interested in the media fuss then in getting a pint in. If you leave at 7am I am guessing you would be at Newick about 11?
