From where I was he started to come out ,stopped and went again.

Even my boy said you can't do that, and he's a goalie of 12!

i think that is called narrowing the angle, then obviously when your defender manages to stack it over the ball then you have to come

but i suppose kuipers would of used some form of mind reading to see into the future and know ela bad would miss it. or if not, everyone would just blame adam instead

I mean its not like Henderson is an international or anything. :jester:

Some people will look for any excuse. His saves were just as important as Jake's goal Tuesday night. Superb.

Henderson - 6 Some dodgy kicking, not much he could do about the equaliser.
Reid - 6 Not as effective going forward today but still fairly solid. Distribution could have been better.
Mayo - 5 Not his best game. Played himself into trouble at times.
El Abd - 6 Big mistake right at the end, not as commanding as usual.
Lynch - 8 Composed, but needs to learn when to try and play out and when to clear his lines.
Hammond - 5 Quiet, not effective. Looked a bit lost.
Carpenter - 7 Much better today, worked hard to break up play. Visibly tired near the end.
Stokes - 6 Some good play, but drifted in and out of the game for long periods.
Revell - 7 Worked really hard, was always covering when Reid got forward.
Hart - 7 Took his goal well but struggled to impose himself on the game.
Robinson - 7 Some flashes of his pace, worked hard.

Subs
Cox - 6 Was unlucky with the chance he created.
Loft - 6 No time to impress.

Henderson 6 Would be disappointed with the first goal surely, although good strike from the Brentford lad.

Reid 7 Lovely runs
El-Abd 6 Good game but won't want to watch injury time
Lynch 7 Some moments of utter class (2nd goal) mixed in with the odd error
Mayo 6 Contributed to our passing play well even though he missed a few headers

Stokes 8.5 MOTM - outstanding, the only flaw being the free kick he gave away for the first goal
Hammond 6 Still not in top form
Chippy 7 Ran our passing game for 60 per cent of the game

Revell 7 Another fine wholehearted stint
Robinson 8 I think his best game in a Brighton shirt - well done Jake
Hart 6.5 Fine finish and hardworking as ever

Subs:
Cox- 8 A fine impression when he came on, too good to leave out, must start against Forest
Loft 6 - OK with his few touches

Henderson 6 I thought he should've done better with the equaliser, although obviously El-Abd's missed header put him in the situation.

Reid 5 Wasted the ball constantly.
El-Abd 6 One very good covering challenge, otherwise solid except his awful involvement in the goal.
Lynch 8 Superb as ever. One slip, although he shouldn't have been put in that situation by Mayo.
Mayo 4 - Dreadful. Passing was poor and looked vunerable whenever he was needed.

Carpenter 7 Decent in the holding role, given no help by those in front of him.
Hammond 6 Nicely taken penalty, other than that average to poor.
Stokes 6 His worst game so far. Looked good when we were on top but faded badly, gave away two or three silly fouls in dangerous areas.

Revell 5 Never looked particularly effective.
Robinson 7 Lively but his decision making wasn't great. Brentford figured out he'd always have to cut in onto his right.
Hart 7 Nicely taken goal. Worked hard as usual. Not his best position.

Cox 7.5 Looked very lively. I would've brought him on at half time and switched to 4-4-2.
Loft 5 Pointless.

at 2-0 I was thinking at last some good football.Very poor second half but dont forget its a very young team.MM needs to get some new players in

Henderson 7 Why slate him thought he had a good game catching good no chance with both goals
Reid 6 Good first half but to attack minded in the last 15 minutes very poor corners
Mayo 5.5 Good first half very poor second half does not help crowd calling him a ginger wanker(take note that fat smelly bastard sat next to me
Lynch 9 mom what a find
El abb 8 made 1 costly error but I thought had a good game
Stokes 7 Some nice skill but too weak on the ball
Hammond 6 Runs his bollocks off and scored but passing and control of the football very poor
Chippy 7.5 back to close to his best:clap2:
Robinson 7 great skills but should of passed to Hammond when we were 2-1 up
Revell 6 won headers but did not much else
Harty 6 scored but not of his best games

Cox 6 ok
Loft to little time to judge

Overall I thought a draw was a fair result. We looked great in the first half an hour but they came back strong to get a point they deserved. We need 3 players to became a very good side at this level,a target man, leftback and a left winger. But 7 points from 9 is a great start to the season.

Henderson-7 didnt do anything wrong.
Reid-5 I thought he wasted a lot of the ball in the second
Mayo-6 Steady but not at his best
Lynch-9 Best player on the park bar none
El Abd- 6 Ok untill he has to think
Stokes-7 Seemed OK
Hammond-6 About right
Chippy-6 nothing spectacular
Robinson-7 played well in fits and starts.
Revell-6 Drifted out wide too much for me.
Hart-6 Not really impressed - took goal well

Ref - 7 fairly average type of ref
Crowd- 5 lots of gaps and a bit of a resigned feel for some reason
