Definitely wasn’t empty as I was stood there with thousands of others!

I forgot, they only opened it up late so was a strange atmosphere for the game I wouldnt say we sold loads of tickets. We need to get a better atmosphere for this game. Coventry out sung us in that game with the singing support being split all over.

I normally avoid FAC ties and will give this a miss too.

Can’t stand WBA, the (alleged) racist or their scummy fans.
Why ? Don't get it when you live locally.

We didnt really, North Stand was empty and so were the upper tiers.

The Coventry attendance was 26,966 and given everyone other than 1901ers had to buy a ticket, there won't have been many no shows.

But CoventryTicketGate will live long in the memory...

Clubs taking loads for a big cup day out will always be loud. I thought it was a good atmo if I remember rightly but I’m usually WSU and that was my first game in the north ever at the Amex! Do remember loud Wembley songs throughout and 27k suggests lots of home tickets sold - well 20k after away fans and 1901 which is really good imo.

I miss loads of Albion matches. I’m not a s/t holder these days for various reasons. With this one, the FAC doesn’t hold the kudos for me that it did when I was growing up, and WBA even before the racist incident is a club I’ve found tedious for years (like Stoke).

Selling tickets stand by stand, and then block by block affected the atmosphere.

I was in West Lower South which is the fist time I had been there as well so maybe affected how I experienced it as I am usually in the northern part of West Lower. Anyway lets hope they open all areas to begin with for this.

You have to feel for Barnet, they surely had to pull a top 6 side with so few other clubs left.

A home tie against a struggling Championship side. Brentford have fallen apart since Dean Smith has left for Aston Villa and he'll sign most of their best players by the end of January. Could have been worse for them - I bet Newport are gutted at having to go up to Middlesbrough.

Surely the racist incident will add to the atmosphere? I reckon it will be a good cup tie. West Brom should bring 4k
