Worthing
Brez - 7
Calderon - 7
Chicken - 7
AEA - 8
Greer - 7
Andrews - 7
Agustein - 6 - some great passes, but way too showy. Watched him for 1 minin second half, and he moved 5 yds and stood with hands on hips, when we were in possession. Great chip to Barnes for goal but needs to do much more.
JFC - 6 - just ok
March - 8
Crofts - 8
Barnes - 8 - headed miss was poor, but great lay off for goal.

Orlandi - 6
Dunk - 7 some important interceptions
KLL - 7 mainly for the dribble at the end and making Reading look stupid....

Ref - Foy - comfortably the best this season

Nigel Adkins - 0 unlucky to lose to a deflected shot.
No mention of being saved by the woodwork 4times plus 2 great saves by his keeper.

Brezovan 6 Nothing much to do all shots were ones you would expect him to save.
Calderon 6 Didnt get forward as much as usual defended well
Greer 6 Good to see him get 60 mins but played in a straight back four central defensive role more so than he usually does.
El Abd 6 Reliable and kept ALF quiet which is no mean task.
Chicksen 7 Stepped up well got forward and defended as required.
Andrews 7.5 His best performance for us at The Amex controlled the midfield.
Agustein 7 Good 1st half, made the goal but tired and was less effective in the 2nd half.
Crofts 6.5 Drifted in and out of the game and mostly went unnoticed extra.5 for the goal
Forster Caskey6 Needs to impose himself on the game rather than hide away.
Mach 6 Exciting but too predictable by putting the ball on his left foot and cutting inside the full back every time.
Barnes 6.5 Tried hard, good knock back for the goal but lost.5 for the terrible headed miss onto the bar. Had the whole goal to aim at and easier to score than hit the bar.

Subs
Dunk 6 Did the job that was expected of him efficiently
Orlandi 6 Ditto Dunk
Lua Lua 6 Relieved the pressure by stopping their right back getting so far forward

Generally a quite good performance by our 'B team, nothing special but achieved what they set out to do and got the result

Brez 8 really good, fair bit to do in 2nd half too.

Calde 7
Greer 7.5 - nice to have him back
El Abd 7.5 - better than last game, do forget just how superb he is at heading
Chicksen 7.5 - assured

Andrews 8 - made us tick first half
Crofts 7
JFC 6.5 - bit anonymous but did nothing wrong

Agustien 7 - could easily have been higher but a bit wasteful
Barnes 8.5 - superb, header the only thing he did wrong all game
March 8 - always threatening, looks good

Some of the ratings for JFC are very harsh imo. When we press teams well and win it back high up the pitch, he plays a major role due to his stamina. He is always harrying opponents and is very tidy in possession.

Also thought Kemy was very good and can't understand the no left foot comments, in some of his earlier appearances this season he was spraying cross field balls with his left - but then he was criticised for losing it too often despite trying the riskier pass-perhaps that is why he has been using his right a lot more.

I am worried about people that though Augestien was good today, one decent shot and a little run do not make up giving away too may stupid free-kicks and nothing in the rest of the game

Brez 7 - came for a few crosses and did what was needed
Calderon 7 - looked good and solid, some passes went astray
El abd 7
Greer 7 - solid come back
Chicksen 7 - look good on the ball - needed more confidence moving forward where he could do well
Andrews 6 - good effort, but distribution could have been better
Crofts 7 - another decent performance
March 8 - what a great debut - seemed a real hope as a quality winger, provided more than Buckley has in recent games
Forster 6 - did well, but not an outstanding performance
Agustien 7 - some strength - better in the middle rather than on the right
Barnes 8 - worked so hard, held the ball up well. Great performance again.

Really enjoyed the game yesterday. It was my son's first ever game - he's definitely allowed to come again! I thought we thoroughly deserved the win and felt all of the players had decent games.

Brezovan 7 - good handling on a tricky surface.
Calderon 7 - kept pushing forward. A legend in my eyes.
Chicksen 6 - did well defensively but struggled going foward due to the lack of a natural left-sided forward in front of him.
Greer 7 - brought the ball out well. Good to have back.
El-Abd 7 - very assured defensively.
JFC 6 - didn't quite do enough for me.
Crofts 7 - so good to see him back at the standard we know he is capable of reaching.
Agustien 6 - technically impressive, very quick feet but overcomplicates things.
March 7 - magnificent first-half. Looks to have a great future.
Andrews 7 - showed his experience, controlled the game at times.
Barnes 8 - MOM for me. Worked tirelessly from beginning to end.

Up the Albion!

Gk Brezovan 7 - very assured performance.
RB Calderon 6.5 - defended better today than Wednesday.
Lb Chicksen 7 - Played well considering our lop sided formation with no real protection from midfield.
Cb El-Abd 7 - Not a lot went past him.
Cb Greer 6.5 - Good sixty minutes for the skipper.
Cm Andrews - 7 another who had a good game.
Cm Crofts 7.5 MOTM equal as good attacking as breaking up play.
Cm Forster-Caskey 7 - creative and always probing for openings.
Lm Agustein - 6 - There's a quality player somewhere, just hasn't delivered consistently for us.
Rm March - 7 Encouraging debut.
Str Barnes - 7 led the line well, glaring miss with the follow up header.

Subs
Orlandi - 7 Class act
Dunk - 7 Really impressed for the last 30 minutes
Lua-Lua 7.5 not on for long but two outrageous pieces of skill were a delight to watch.

A good solid team performance. Reading were atrocious first half, improved second half but we were still relatively comfortable.

Thanks for that. At last I know which positions they all play!!!

Brezovan - 7 - looked solid and distribution generally good

Calderon - 6 - generally good, but got skinned by their left wing a few times. One of my all-time favouritesbut vulnerable defensively at this level
Chicksen - 7 - really encouraging. Looks good going forward and comfortable on the ball
El Abd - 7 - typical AEA display. Very competent
Greer - 7 - Assured in possession as usual. We are a better team with him in the side because he dictates the pace the game.

March - 7.5 - very lively down the right flank before fading slightly in the 2nd half. Looks a great prospect
Andrews - 7.5 - pivotal performance from him. Positional sense is excellent.
Agustien - 6.5 - plenty of skill on display but feels too much of a luxury. Still not mobile enough.
Crofts - 8 - my MOM. A real threat going forward and took his goal well
JFC - 6.5 - not bad, but didn't do quite enough.

Barnes 7.5 - would have been 8.5 were if not for the missed header. Led the line superbly.

Brezovan - 7 - Very good on crosses. Just never feel he's going to make any blinding saves, but won't do much wrong

Calderon - 6.5 - Good going forward, not so good at the back. That's Calde for you
Chicksen - 7.5 - Very good given he was up against Drenthe! Very impressed & genuine competition for Ward
El Abd - 6.5 - Always likely to give away a free-kick. Behind Dunk in my estimations
Greer - 7 - Usual solid GG

March - 7.5 - Excellent first half, ok second half
Andrews - 7.5 - Excellent player & a made replacement for Bridcutt.
Agustien - 6.5 - Lack of mobility is a hinderance to a clearly talented player
Crofts - 8 - MOM. Everywhere & good strike
JFC - 7 - Played well. Kept things ticking over

Barnes 7.5 - 0.5 off for missed chance. Excellent otherwise
