How far back does the VAR look, if there's a foul in the build up to a goal, say 1 minute before the ball hits the net, does that get looked at?

That's a good question. I think some of the ref's decisions made retrospectively with VAR will prove just as controversial as some of the on the spot decisions.

Oh he will and hopefully he will start getting some decisions.

He might just blame our pitch again for his admitted falling over, amazing How the other 21 players managed to stay on their feet. The guy is very talented but either very fragile, dodgy boots, or maybe he goes down a bit easy. I know what most football fans outside SE25 think. Confirmed by Pardew on a sky debate that ‘Wilf does go down a bit easy, half the changing room love it, the other half tell him not to’ maybe Pardew has got it wrong as well.
