Why won't they move the Leeds game to say the Sunday or later in the year? It was not moved to Friday on police advice (as said above) it was moved on request of the University as we use their car park and it is their enrolement/induction day (or something) on the Saturday. Surely the Football League cannot expect us to play two games in 48 hours. Let's hope they move the Leeds game.

Then you've got exactly the same scenario, as we'd be playing Palace 48hrs later.

What is with the whole surely we can't be expected to play two games in x hours thing?

Two out of the Four clubs involved in the Leeds v Man U and BHA v Liverpool match were going to play twice in 48hrs no matter what. As it has turned out those two team are us and Man Utd, however any other outcome (apart from a complete rescheduling of numerous games) would still have resulted in two teams playing twice, just maybe not us.

Don't get me wrong I would have preferred to have us playing Tuesday and sod everyone else, but the reality is we have no travel considerations so it was always likely to happen.

3 games in 6 days, does that ever happen? Even over the Christmas/New Year time when sometimes you play two games with one day in between there's a biut of a longer break before the next one after that. Had a feeling this would happen though, with this and the Leeds Man U game being the obvious ones for TV and Liverpool playing on the Sunday.

Can the club sort out any form of sleeping arrangement for season ticket holders?
Given I'll be there 3 times in the space of 7 days, I'd quite like to turn it into a mini break.

Best solution is to reschedule the Leeds match for later in year. Bet that doesn't happen though!

Simple, really. Have both games (liverpool and leeds) wrapped up by half-time so we can rest key players and take it easy in the second halves, then we'll be fresh for the tuesday game v palace.
