Was just thinking wouldn't it be a great idea if the club could organise a pre season friendly in Europe that was in easy reach for thousands of Albion fans to get to
Let's face it were never gonna play in Europa cup or champions league so what a great idea it would be to have a few thousand popping across the channel on ferries from Newhaven & Portsmouth to get to Le Harve plus the've got a brand new stadium nearly completed , or better still a friendly against Paris St German what a weekend that could be what do think NSC a good idea or am I talking out of my arse as usual
first time around was ok , just a glorified lash up, NOTHING FROM THE LOCALS, more tension on the ferry going over on the friday night ???

Paris would be superb, loads of bars and cafes around the Parc des Princes. Although I fear they will be playing most of their pre-season friendlies in Qatar for a while.

Ostend , Dunkirk & Boulogne all have pro teams. Ok the quality isn’t great but would all be doable day trips, which would probably suit all parties.

Posh end of Shoreham
Thanks pogue
Looks a great stadium the ends are impressive better than our north & south and all looks so close to the pitch I bet it would create a very good atmosphere

Used to follow Rouen quite closely, historically the biggest club in Normandy, regulars in div 1 throughout the 70's

losing by the odd goal to Arsenal over 2 legs in the Fairs Cup

there nickname is the Red Devils

Sadly been well overtaken by Le Havre & Caen, a little like Pompey with us & Saints

I think you'd certainly find a reception commitee in Paris

Got a serious mob,any English in town would get there attenion

Even travel down to Marseille,by far the biggest game in French football

Then again, imagine only one team in London!
