A knock in training according to Brian Owen

If it really is a knock, then fair enough-but why do clubs/managers do this 'He's picked up a knock' bullshit when there clearly isn't one, he's either about to complete a deal elsewhere or his mind isn't there because of speculation. Why on earth can't they say Didn't feel it was appropriate to play him given the interest from elsewhere still in my plans hopful he will stay ect ect

It may be, it may not, but why do fans automatically assume the worst?

I mean don't get me wrong, I want him to stay desperately and remain optimistic he will but thus situation is common (ie 'It's a knock' then moves club within two days, thus proving its a knock to be a complete lie) Just don't like the dishonesty. Of course if he really does have a knock (We'll probably never know) then I take back my anguish.

Side note: Bruno playing CB. Although he did a magnificent job vs Wednesday, I am slightly worried about our lack of fit CB's at present.

If Dale really is off, what do we think the club will accept after apparently turning down £4m? 5m? More? Would be gutted to see him go after last season in the middle with BK

£6 million I'd say.
