That's exactly how I imagined they must be suffering. But a win tomorrow is vital to pile on the misery.

clearly he is the type of person who bets on his own team to lose just to make it hurt a little less. Class-less cock.

I think Palace have a far better chance than he clearly does. It will be close tomorrow. Palace will raise their game. I could see a draw with Murray scoring as well. 1-1.

I thought that was HILARIO. This bit made me CHUCKLE:

They've got a brand new environmentally friendly stadium powered solely by self-righteousness (I'm not saying it's middle class but I believe Sandi Toksvig is the pitch announcer).

He lives just down the road from me and I see him on the train frequently. I've never spoken to him before but may just say a cheery 'hello' next time I see him, if the result goes the way of the good guys tomorrow.

I hate to admit it - but he is quite a funny bloke. He did a good one for the Beeb about his mother coming to see an Albion match.

I like to think there are Palace fans bricking it.

A very good read. Funny, great self-deprecating humour and some witty put downs for the Albion. I hope his attempt at reverse psychology fails and he has a couple of days hiding under the duvet this week.

"My God, I wish I had gloated when they were two divisions below us and really shit, but I didn't because Palace fans are too nice. And now it's too late. We're going to lose
and they are going to gloat"

Clearly a man of some discernment.............but Palace fans "too nice" - don't be daft!

As he probably didn't need reminding, in at least one season they were not two but THREE divisions above us. So it might be tempting to say it's just great to be back on level terms. However, that would be a lie. Victory would be one of the sweetest ever.

To be fair we have not even been on their radar for about 18 our the last 20 seasons with Palace always above us and now finally we are at the same level and some of our fans are giving it the large one. I think that would piss me of if it were the other way around to be honest.

Does anyone want to tell him that we have already been beaten at the Amex in a competitive match? Not that I want Palace to win of course, it'd hurt (again), but it just wouldn't have the kudos Kevin Day wants to attach to it.
