Better then no points but you can't help but feel we should have won...

Maybe, but it's at least a little encouraging that we can spack it up by throwing away a lead by conceding goals in the 77th and 83rd minute but still have the resources/nerve/whatever to actually claw back an equaliser. A lot of sides would've just said bugger it and lost the game 2-1. I think.

got to start jakey with turenzo and try that french goalie and the midfield has to be changed one holding m/fielder and 1 attacking m/fielder night on the left wing and the other french guy on the right and then rip the shit out of any team we play

Is CKR going to be he next Malongo???

No - he was again very good today - but it's a shame we can't get 90 mins out of him, because we might have retained the lead today.

Bye bye Henderson...

No fault for either goals.

Listen - crazy last 15 mins - but we played well today, better than Derby.

Crewe only had two shots on target - and they scored twice. You get games of football like that when there is a bit of smash and grab. I'm just pleased we got the draw, so I'm reasonably satisfied.

We were excellent in the first half - passed them off the pitch, shame we could only get one goal.

Second half was very scrappy. But even so, we had the better of the play - the concern was that we played so well from the back and in midfield, but we just lacked that cutting edge up front. CKR tired so McGhee took the arguable gamble to replace him with El Turi. But we just looked too tired to finish the job and ripe for a mugging. But that and the subbing of Carole for Nicolas was arguably too defensive from McGhee. But a tough call - we were tiring and only had a goal lead - a nightmare situation for a manager.

Once again, the gamebreaking goal from the oppostion was a fluke as on Tuesday. Did the Crewe player really mean to hit a grasscutting free kick - bollocks did he. But it found a forward and he isn't going to miss from 3 yards. We reacted in disarray and they scored a good second goal when we were down in the dumps.

But we raised ourselves and got the equaliser - so, not a terrible day.

For me, there were way more positives than negatives.

We controlled the vast majority of the game in midfield, against a good passing team.

Leon Knight had his best game of the season - his best position is a deeper role, he will probably score more goals from there than up front!

Carole had an excellent debut - a fine signing.

Reid played very well in an unaccustomed position - he really is a class player.

Reid was mustard last Saturday, methinks he will be a key player this season.

Certainly thought he shoul have been quicker off his line for the second, seemed reluctant to come out for anything throughout. Needs replacing.

Bit harsh first 1 he had no hope with, second one maybe could have come for it but it was a bloody good ball in, and any way we should have been home and dry by the time crewe got the first. All the fun of being a Brighton fan
