That’s an absolute shocker by palace there, I don’t know the story behind it or what team was put out but going from 7 games undefeated to a 10.0 shellacking is quite a feat.
Not too late to repeat the same thing with the first team... though I struggle to see you going 7 undefeated in the PL...

Yeah... scoff if you like - but just like the first team - they were f****** unlucky! Didn't get the breaks and the bias ref was crap!! Should have been awarded at least 11 pens!!!

The U-21s' 10-0 victory over Palace (and Solly March's appearance) received a mention on the NBC coverage of Albion's win today ... which was nice ...

You think there will be highlights for this one AZ?
They were shown on the big screen before the Spurs match so I would expect them to appear on the website later today

Someone asked how Palace crumbled and James responded:

"2 or 3 with the first team squad and a lot out on loans. Doesn’t defend the 10 goals held but definitely not our strongest U21 squad"

One player from Palace's first eleven from the win against Forest in their last game was in the first team squad against Liverpool. They have six players out on loan. Brighton have eight.

Brighton have 20 out on loan, not eight -14 of them are U21s.

Brighton have, but Transfermarkt has a lot of them listed as on loan from the first team and I was counting only those listed as being on loan from the U21s, so that it was a like for like comparison.

Beadle, BBB, O'Mahony, Choucane, Jackson, Barrington, Nilsson & Doyle.

Palace also have another seven listed as being on loan from their first team and 3 of those are aged under 21.

So, their original six, plus these three U21 'first teamers' - makes nine on loan, compared to our 14. Plus, out of Transfermarkt's list, two of them, BBB and O'Mahony, have first team PL experience.
Maybe that's why I often regard Transfermarkt as the last resort! :)
