It’s not about results
Very much with you there, but it can’t be great for confidence when you have control of a game(s) and lose. Everton were not better than us and you could see the players were not happy with the result

That’s exactly how I would look at it and I would be really p***** off that we had lost but from a development pov it’s a great lesson, as was for example Beadle’s early red card against palace a couple if weeks ago.

It must be a real dilemma for the coaches who are looking at how individuals are performing when the natural instincts of a team is a collective win.
