This really hasn't changed much

I think the South Stand runs along where the shed is

1910 - this hasn't changed much either!

Not quite as easy checking where the 17.34 has got to!

And getting a taxi was probably a bit different too....

I don't know of websites like it, but for books you could do well to pick up Brighton Remembered, and Brighton: a century in photographs, volume 1 and 2.

I always used to read them while I was on the computer booking desk when I worked at the old library at Vantage Point.

- A pub called Fiddlers
- A huge sweet shop on the corner

I love that picture of the clock tower reminds me of being a Lad and waiting for the No 8 to Hangleton obviously about 10years later

I worked on that book. I designed the chapter entitled 'The Birth of the International City', including designing the ad hoc public transport map, and taking a few of the pictures in that chapter.
