Are there any more sites like this one?

Brilliant website, some interesting finds.

e.g

clocktower_looking_south.jpg

The clock tower in 1967

This really hasn't changed much

I think the South Stand runs along where the shed is

pavilion_tennis.jpg

1910 - this hasn't changed much either!

brighton_station_train_boar.jpg

Not quite as easy checking where the 17.34 has got to!

RAIL9.jpg

And getting a taxi was probably a bit different too....

Yes, i am aware this site has been on here before, but is there anything else interesting or similar out there?

I was about to recommend that Bof!

I bought it last week and it's excellent. I love the MyBrighton site, I'm planning to do some contributions to it next time I'm down south.

I don't know of websites like it, but for books you could do well to pick up Brighton Remembered, and Brighton: a century in photographs, volume 1 and 2.

I always used to read them while I was on the computer booking desk when I worked at the old library at Vantage Point.

That picture of where the South Stand is - what on earth is that animal? And should it not be sitting down?

Not sure of any other website, but get yourself down to the library to rent a book called "A brave new city" by Anthony Seldon.

Cracking book.
I worked on that book. I designed the chapter entitled 'The Birth of the International City', including designing the ad hoc public transport map, and taking a few of the pictures in that chapter. :)
