Some decent views expressed. this one i thought good, at least he did not spout on about us being moneybags in the transfer market like some ill informed have. he appreciated that we are being sensible on wages etc

They unearthed a mega-rich fan who has pumped money in (mostly for the new stadium, rather than flinging cash at an overinflated wages/transfer budget). Good luck to them after the travesty of the Goldstone Ground sale, a couple of seasons of exile in North Kent, and the misery of watching football for so long at the horrible Withdean.

I was hoping they'd stay in our Division for another year, so I could see Orient at the Falmer Stadium, but that's not looking likely at the mo.

Frankly, we shouldn't base our chances of promotion against anything seen yesterday, Orient had a shocker.

And i bet you won't hear their fans moaning that although they won 5-0 ,it doesn't really count for anything because they were up against a poor side, unlike our moaning ****

LOL

I'm not moaning but it's true though innit?

No was just funny one of them wrote that and u wrote what u wrote!

IMO it's partly true. On the other hand Orient were good in the JPT though we had a shite ish side out if i recall. We did play some class stuff yesterday - if we had 11 and played like that last Weds we'd have beaten Charlton by 2 goals I reckon... So I appreciate Orient were poor yesterday but don't take away from our class flowing footy...

I bet that tosser candles isn't on there. ( yeah, I know there's a current love in with him, but count me out)

Seems to spend his life trolling on here.

Hello. I'm guessing that the peanut in your moniker is either a comparison with your brain or perhaps your cock. Perhaps both.

To be honest, I never got all the "hate" stuff with Orient at the end of the 1990s. Sure, that dick Hearn got us wound up with his stupid comments, and we had whatever Scott McGleish did or didn't say (wasn't it actually Carl Griffiths?), but I have always found them to be a pretty friendly bunch of fans, and had some good banter with them up there, and their social club is a model for any football club's supporters' bar. It embarrassed me no end when we won there 2-1 under Adams, and our fans were singing, "we beat the scum 2-1". P***** are and remain the scum whether we are in the Conference and they are in the Premiership and vice-versa. Occasionally in the past, I have been to Brisbane Road when the Albion have been way up north. As for Candles, or whatever he calls himself these days, he's like our idiot who kept posting on the Southend board.

Orient fans are proper fans.

Btw I'm no idiot. Trust.

Exactly. First and foremost people want to watch a winning team, the quality of the opposition is secondary. Look how badly our crowds fell away when we reached the old 1st division and the wins dried up; it was obvious that people preferred to watch us thump the likes of Mansfield as opposed to losing to the likes of Man City. Granted if Brighton are going to be 'shit' it's better to be shit in a higher division as the quality of the opposition is better - but given a choice between watching a rampant League One side and poor-to-middling Championship side most fans want to see their team win regardless of the opposition.
