Brilliant thread! I worked as a stuntman in Hong Kong in the eighties, just for a laugh and to earn a bit of money, nearly got killed a couple of times but it was fun. Love the back story of Brighton Rock and Brighton folk involved in the making. I like the original better, far darker. But to be fair, the remake sticks to the books ending, on the cliffs.
Also in the book there is a mention of Sherrys Dance Hall in West St, for those that remember Btn's first big nightclub.
