The Prince Albert was the runaway winner of Group A, taking over 57% of the votes, whilst the Heart & Hand was Group B's runner up, only narrowly missing out on top spot to the Welly, with 28% of the votes.

The Prince Albert for me, I've always found The Heart and Hand a bit naff, I'm quite surprised it has made it through.

Crikey, the Heart & Hand is getting annihilated here. Seems a real shame as I think it's a cracking boozer. But the Albert was a hotly fancied entry in this tournament from the start with good reason. On its showing so far it has to be a real favourite to go all the way, although of course there's still plenty more to come from this contest

The Albert is good on several fronts. Great music family, varied ale menu, the food is ok and the general ambience is always good. Definitely a pub I will show off to visitors when they head to the coast.

I like the Heart and Hand, it is like stepping back in time, very tatty but part of it's character. A real 45rpm jukebox too.
