I think the elsewhere fans have had it much tougher.
Back in the day, 40 minute bus ride to Worthing station then train to hove for home matches and I have no idea how we managed to get to Brighton station in time to catch the Seagulls special for long away days.

You said you were born near the station. That isn't Royal Sussex. That's the long-gone Buckingham Road maternity hospital, where I was born.

Not many of us meant Brighton born and bred at that point of the thread there wasn’t many that had mentioned being born and growing up in Brighton.

Yes I was born in Buckingham Rd, at one point in my life I ended up living in the next road.

I too was born at Zachery Merton Hospital Rustington .... the lived my youth in West Sussex until i joined the Navy ... 23 years between Plymouth and Portsmouth but Brighton blood runs in my veins even though i still live in dog shite city
