I've had a couple of mates live on the shoreham houseboats, lovely little pads they are, although risking your life whilst drunk and heading back to firm land in the pitch black darkness is not recommended..those wooden planks are not as wide as you think!

Talking about the houseboats at Shoreham reminded me that a couple of years ago I told my wife that I`d quite like to live on one. I looked up the price for one that was for sale and they wanted about 250k for it which stopped me there and then on the plan of selling my house and living out my days there with a load of cash in the bank to squander in the local pubs.
