You'd make the entire city more popular/profitable for tourists,
what tourists will be left? you understand all those people from worthing, portlade are filling the tills in Brighton right? as much as students bring the culture and general vibe to brighton, they certainly dont bring alot of £ to the shops. i say this as im about to drive in to brighton for the day shopping. if i had to go by train (which i like, nothing against) i'd limit what i might purchase due to practicalities, and theres a good chance we'd go elsewhere.
