Did anyone hear who got sponsors MoM? We were trying to think of anyone that was above a 5/10 today and came up with maybe Dunk, Steele (bar the late brainfart which actually worked out) or Hinshelwood as the only ones that could be arguably above that.

Wolves look so much better than Man U or Chelsea (or West Ham, for that matter). They are genuine candidates for top 7. Important to stop them getting 3 points tonight, which we did.
Amazing transformation, as they were clueless against us at Molyneux a few months ago!

Have you fogotten about Gilmour?

Admittedly he had a quieter second half but first half he was a level above anyone else on the pitch.

They defended very well but folk are talking like they were prime Barcelona. I thought we were the better team overall tbh.

Not entirely sure I agree. Wolves are a decent side, could and probably have scored, and we simply didn't create enough to deserve more than a point.

I'm not sure we deserved more than a point (although we were the better side), but that's because we were poor in the final third. We played below our standard and dropped points.

We were 5/3 on with the bookies. If drawing that isn't 2 points dropped, then I don't know what is.

I’m just so glad there is consistency in the refereeing, it’s not like their no12 got booked then went full on aggressive at the ref and lino, TWICE. I’m sure Dunk loved seeing the lack of a 2nd yellow……..

WBG and Jao Pedro were ok as well both put in a great shift carrying some of the other players..

We've dropped so many points this year in the league. 6th should be sown up but we haven't got the mentality to get these wins. 2 points from West Ham and Wolves isn't very good. Could have got a spawny 1-0 and got battered in one and have had one more point.
Since the start of December, only Liverpool have taken more PL points than Wolves. And West Ham were on a run of 1 defeat in 8 when we played them (with them having recently won away at Spurs and Arsenal). So I don't know in what world you believe us drawing those two games showed poor mentality on our part, particularly given the patched-up side we're having to field right now.

Some people are beginning to sound a touch entitled on here.

And Wolves are not Burnley or Sheff Utd, they are a much better side. I say we take the deserved and fair point against a decent side and be pleased that we are now on five match unbeaten run.( or 1 loss v Arsenal in 9).

I think we got lucky , so a point gained in my opinion. Thought by end of the game Wolves were better team. Good defence and quick fast breaks...better strikers and they win whereas Burnley, Fulham and SUFC we were clearly the better team.

WBG and Dunky were a level above anyone else.

Milner left the field really frustrated, snatched his jacket off the coach holding it before he sat down and I don't blame him. He did literally dozens of attempts at running in behind and almost no service to him. Especially in the second half he was left unmarked for large portions of the match but not played in when he had acres of space. Lots of sideways and back passing without the incisive through balls that he was wanting. If Mitoma was on the pitch, I'm sure he'd have been fed a couple of passes but we seemed to ignore Millners runs for some reason.

Its absolutely pointless playing a through-ball to Milner. Yes he was sometimes running into space, or had space to run into, but the reason he was left largely unmarked was because a blind turtle with 3 flippers could easily catch up with him anyway. See also Gross (who had a real stinker tonight).

We are badly missing the pace and guile of Solly, Karou and Adingra. No amounts of running in behind from Grandpa Milner is going to come anywhere close to giving us that width we so desperately need. But it is what it is, as someone used to say.

Add Welbeck and Lallana to Milner & Gross and we must have played our slowest side ever.

Within five minutes of coming on Lallana was desperately waving his hands trying to slow things down as we charged forward on the attack down the left trying to catch them on the break. I don't get his late inclusion as he adds nothing except a few side ways passes.
