Shame.

Propper - 6 is going to get even more shite on the player rating thread.

It was a massive shame, especially after he at last put the ball in the back of the net.

However how can you not criticise a player who made a similar mistake to cause a goal in the previous home game?

Again he has played a pass on the edge of his own box without looking.

Poor? Definitely not. We were/are just decent and didn't let them look spectacular.

They looked incredibly dangerous. Jota, Traore, Moutinho, and others, a constant threat on the break.

Not a missed opportunity, a hard earned and deserved point against a very strong side.

Yep - I’d go with that.

I was worried right to the final whistle they would create something. They definitely looked more dangerous going forward than us.

Missed opportunity, Wolverhampton were poor, just couldn’t turn the screw enough 2nd half.
I thought we were decent throughout but wolves were far from poor. We did gift them their goals but they looked dangerous down the left with their speed merchant. I am fairly happy with the 4 points from the last 2 games.

Yep, every time they went forward they looked like doing something.

Fair result and Traore’s pace and trickery/skill on the ball caused us so many problems. Shame Mooy didn’t make it 3-1 as I think Wolves would have had to change their very effective game plan. Gonna get tougher as managers set up to combat the way we play. Enjoyable game but two really soft goals, although they looked so dangerous with their pace. Ryan saved us again imo

One thing that I've noticed more over the last couple of games is how the defence keeps passing the ball around themselves until the opposition are right on top of them. There were several times today that it got close to losing the ball in a dangerous position, other than the one for their second goal.

Brighton factually.....

Which is as I understand it, part of the master plan, leaving space for us to suddenly and quickly move the ball foward and counterattack.

Absolutely stitched up by the Thursday kick off IMO. Nuno made a big thing about them getting a day's rest in his pre-match, to play on our suspicions, but he was spot on. With no Connolley and everyone only having had a couple of days since Arsenal we were, as Potter said post match, below our best. That said, I predicted the draw, as above, because Wolves are draw specialists, we are their bogey team and I always fancied us to score a goal or two.

Draw was probably the right result, just about, but we may have got out of jail. Bringing on Muzza at left wing and the useless effing Iranian on the right just about spoke to our options after a very tough 8 days.

Not sure about Alzate being played where he is.

Reasonable performance and 2 good goals. 4 points makes a good week

Good shout.

Gaping spaces on our right for both of their goals. The problem with Alzate seems to be his versatility though. Where do you play him? Is he a better number 10 than Trossard, Gross or Mooy? Better holding player than Stephens or Propper? And we don't play wingers. That leaves him at wingback by default.

Quick peek on their board - they're saying the same things as us. Moments of brilliance, disjointed at times, silly mistakes at the back, good to get a point.... Certainly suggests that a score draw was about right tonight.

Wolves fans i spoke to after the game were very complimentary about us. They seem a good bunch - still very grounded too despite their rapid recent rise

They are a good bunch - Wolves is a big cub that really has been hung out to dry for nearly 30 years. It is good to see them perform.

I think that the last 2 games have shown that at last we are almost now a good PL club.
The once solid defence is giving me a few worries from time to time but still a very good defence with one out on loan and Duffy on the bench.
We need to cut out some of the silly mistakes and giving the ball away cheaply, you get punished in the PL for that.
Maupay is starting to prove his worth and is a great team man, often in the box to defend when needed, but I still think we need an out and out striker, not easy I know.
But the key is that we MUST sign Mooy, again today he was the lynchpin to so much of our play.
