dunno I'm lost
Well that was a truly awful display of how not to play against a championship side.

Potter needs to get his shit together otherwise we're looking at a relegation fight once again.

We're just so easy to muscle out of a game. Mentally and physically fragile.

Sums up our biggest problem, we are too inconsistent. We can’t string two good halves together in games and until we resolve that we are in trouble.

I don't really understand Potter's thinking with the line up, why persist with playing White at CDM? Once we scored we sat back and were just waiting for them to equalize, it was embarrassing really.

Potter is now being found out, no experience at this level, dire performance!!

That was a load of shit. The players should be ashamed of themselves after that second half.

Missed Dunk as a leader.
Didn’t help with some strange substitutions. We needed to stretch them and Gross and McAllister weren’t going to do that. We missed Connolly coming on and doing that.
Some poor performances tonight; Bissouma, Maupay and even Lamptey wasn’t great.
Looks worrying with Spurs away coming up.

Utterly utterly disgusted.

First half - apart from Maupay (who had a mare for 90 mins) we were good value for the lead until the last five minutes when it was clear Potter was sending out a new message.

Second half - deja vu... it was back to the bad old days of League 1 football. Remember those days we'd go one goal up and then the message went out, forget about scoring, go tight and defend for all tour worth... and don't we remember even then, how many wins we threw away!

It looks like no one told Potter about those days. It was stupid and naive. Where was the width with which Lamptey tormented them in the first half? We were no longer proactive, just reactive.

Is this what the Potter world looks like... constantly being reactive. if so we'll look good at losing to the big teams and look rubbish as weaker teams turn us into the trembling wrecks WBA made of us in the second half looked.

I bought into the vision of Potter but there was no vision today and it wasn't the players who were at fault. OK, I understand Lallana going off as he's not fit but Alzate for Trossard?!! Even the commentator summised it meant we were going defensive!!!

No. This was all Potter who threw our two points away and if this is the way he is goin to play out the rest of the season then I want no part of him. If I wanted McGhee back I'd have asked for him and settled for League 1 mediocrity.

Tony’s plan for top 10.

My guess is that top 10 teams have character and occasionally win home games.

I’m almost always pro GP but poor from him tonight - subs, structure in the second half, defenders galloping up field in that last 30 as if we had to chase a goal.

Crap by Matty Ryan for the goal, committed the wrong way before the ball was struck.

Not convinced we should be so desperate to find a role just yet for Ben White. Alzate is a better midfielder and defensively he’s not covered himself in glory so far. A very good prospect, yes, but there’s a lot of inexperience in a key area.
