At this level, doing the line is a specialist job. The assistants on the Premier League and Championship have had extra training not given to the match referees and vice versa so they are not interchangeable. A lot of the EPL assistants have decided that they would prefer to do that then take a couple of steps back down the ladder in order to climb the referee side of things (and they would need to stop being professional in order to do so). I don't know if this is true of Massey-Ellis but you would think that if the FA could use her as a match ref they would.Totally agree with this; it's a shame that it appears that she isn't getting the opportunity to be elevated to referee at this level. She couldn't possibly be worse than some of the geriatric clowns currently officiating in the middle.
So excited
I'm confident of a win on this one. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing.
I'm absolutely convinced we'll win by a cricket score.
I'm throwing a few quid at Albion to score 4.5+ goals at 18/1.
Nice little 3-1 will do 4-1 if we are playing like we played in prem against manure
I was thinking 4-1 this morning, whats the odds on that ?
Welbeck 1st goal ?

Wouldn't be at all surprised if Welbeck was introduced latedoors for added impact, and so as not to appear that GP is binning anyone from the starting line-up out of turn
IF fit I would start him, he is clearly a better player than Connolly, who could come on later if need be.
