Agree, but he isnt looking as sharp right now as he did at times last season. That volley v Wolves at the Amex, brilliant goal........ not sure he scores that same goal right now.

Its not ability, hes shown it, is it form, confidence, bad luck?
He's scored 4 in 5 games!!

Take Maupay out this team and you’ll realise how good he is IMO, his finishing could be better atm but if he could finish every chance he wouldn’t be playing for us.

Feels like Villa at home last season. def need another goal and not to sit back last 10-15 mins.

Yup, if it's still just one goal with 15mins to go, we know which way the waves of play will be going by then

West Brom's second half form is woeful - just 1 goal scored, 10 conceded.

Maupay has been brilliant for us. One of our best PL signings no question.

But. There is no doubt.. he could and should have scored more. The number of clear cut chances this guy misses. But scores the harder ones.

Potter is right, if we can get Neal scoring half of these chances he could be close to 20 a season. And not even exaggerating.

Impressed with several performances so far e.g. Burn, Webster & Lallana. Burn has great control of the ball in tight situations.

And especially Livermore.
