Worthing
I don’t think I,ve seen Knocky have a worse game than that for us. Dreadful...... two dives and non stop moaning.

I'm surprised he wasn't pulled, he was absolutely shambolic. Every attack was wasted when he got the ball.

I suspect the draw that Brighton are given for the next round will influence the team that will play in the replay, and the league results in between as well.

not a classic by any stretch of the imagination & lack of imagination in the final third was all too evident .... had we scrambled the first goal we may have then strolled it but to be honest just didnt see us scoring if we played til midnight.

Bissouma best player of the first half , seemed to run out of steam as game went on not surprisingly. Knocky blaming everyone for not being where he passed the ball was getting on my nerves , time he learnt he is as much to blame for playing the wrong pass as the others not reading where he is going to play it. Andone tried his best but he never got much chance as most the balls to him were not the kind he wants or will thrive on.

Positives ... we didnt lose , Burn looked accomplished , Gyokeres looks like he should get much more first team time , Bissouma has that raw engine that once refined will dominate midfields
Negative ... can understand playing Montoya as LB but did mean he had to stop and delay any crosses while putting on his right foot , Knocky still way too knocky , team didnt play to the strengths of its attacking trio with threaded balls in behind rather than lumped up which fell into the hands of the defenders

Oh well at least we get a replay which I hope we finally put this game to bed.

My first thought after the end of the game Was rather to have lost than have to face a replay, a very strong looking line up failed to deliver, players cannot play to the highest standards week in week out and most weeks one player or another is having a below standard game today we had a number Bossuma, Locardia, Adone all had one of those days on the bright side Button good again with Ryan about to return it might cause a selection problem for CH, Burn had an excellent debut worked slotted straight in with Duffy, VG looked good and is slowly making a claim to a starting spot which I think will come before the end of the season then with a good preseason could be a regular next season

WA on the radio just said if we get good results from the next two league games it might put us in a position to send a stronger squard for the replay

So upon reflection I am glad we are still in the competition but will need to do so much better in the replay

Today's performance vindicated Chris's Premier League team selection.

So, apart from Gyokeres and Burn, who of the rest haven't played in the Prem this season, and even last? What is this 'selection' you talk of?

And with AK fannying around on the right we thinks really kept slowing down. That's what has been refreshing about Locadia on the left, seems quicker of thought.

dont matter
Burn impressed me far more defensively than Balogun has done so far. Think when AJ is back Knockaert will be lucky to make the bench, severely lacking in decision making and composure but can you coach that ?
