When we eventually lose comfortably again and are outplayed, people are going to lose their shit. I’m enjoying us at this position in the league for what it is - but we aren’t going to be in the top 4 or 6 at the end of the season. Some fans, as I say, are getting quite entitled and slightly delusional about our level.

It’s one thing being optimistic, it’s another thing “expecting” results against much bigger teams, playing European football (which we’ve never done) with a budget that eclipses ours, with a vastly more successful history.
In the last how many games we’ve beaten Spurs/Arsenal away, won at old Trafford and West Ham had a well deserved draw with Liverpool away and hammered Leicester in our last home game. I’m not sure what else this group of players can do before you start believing in them.

Entitled and delusional? Get off your high horse. What's wrong with a bit of confidence after the way we've been playing? Not many would 'lose their shit' after a poor result against a top team. Not rational fans, anyway

He's an excellent player but spoils it by being a nasty kunnt. At least he's cut that 'back making' shite out it seems. He'll spend a lot of the time telling the ref what to do. He can fukk right off.
I'm very much hoping he brings it out of the locker today and gets an overdue red card for dangerous play

I’m concerned that I’ll get cold at the Amex tonight. At the start of the season I was in sunnier climes and wore shorts and a t-shirt to watch our opening win at Old Trafford on TV. I wore the exact same shorts and t-shirt (and underwear if you’re interested) for the next 2 games and consequently decided this must be my lucky football uniform.

So when I returned home from holiday, I continued to wear the exact same outfit every time we played. I forgot to do so for the Fulham game, hence reinforcing my opinion that this is, indeed, a lucky outfit.

Therefore, I feel compelled to wear the same shorts and t-shirt (and underwear) to the game later today. I’m almost hoping that we lose so I can discontinue this ridiculous farce, but on the other hand, I’m happy to risk hypothermia through the winter if it means we go undefeated for the rest of the season!

I feel for but plan ahead. Jumper and jeans game 1. As for today, a win by 2.

Looks like Caicedo and Bissouma will be competing in the same area of midfield - our left, Spurs right.

My money's on Caicedo to win it.

3-1 at half time, 6-2 at full time (please)

Thanks!

TBF, I'd take any win over this bunch of utter ****ts, but the more humiliating, the better

Should be a fascinating battle. Will be interesting to see how we cope with their central 3 as we ostensibly have a 2.

Not likely to be much of a midfield battle... Spurs generally doesn't use their midfield. They're just going to sit deep, try to win the ball in their own third and then hoof it to Son/Kane.

I know what you mean and I hope your're right today. On paper, we could get outnumbered in the middle, especially as Trossard is now playing more forward.
