I've got family coming down to watch this match all supporting Spurs. My Dad is a typical Spurs fan, doesn't stop whinging and moaning whenever he's watching Spurs.
Let's keep those miserable sods crying about how they're the biggest underachievers in football. Come on the Albion!

I think we're fine. Southampton need 7 points and a +6 GD swing just to overtake us - from 5 games (3 of those are away). The pressure on them will be immense - especially after their last two games. That Chelsea one in particular must have taken a lot out of them.
There are also 4 teams inbetween us in the same boat.
I don't care who we've got left to play. We're more than capable of getting a point to take us over the line. We can do it tonight - I know Spurs' away form is spectacularly good, but it feels like a decent Albion performance is brewing after 3 games where we have blown chance after chance.
And how fitting to do it on the anniversary of our promotion.
Bet we miss a penalty tonight though. Just to stretch the tension out.

If Southampton catch us on points, they will pass us on GD. It's not that unlikely they'll get two wins from games against Leicester, Bournemouth, Everton and Swansea.

No, it's not unlikely.
But if they do win 2 games, they'll still be 1 point behind us. With 3 games left.
That's assuming we get no points in our next 2 games.
Then they've got to overhaul us. That's an incredible turn around in form for a team with no form.
Of those games, Bournemouth aren't going to roll over, and whilst Leicester are hit and miss, Everton are strong at home. If they beat Swansea, then that just drags Swansea into it.

Everyone has winnable games left. It's the actual winning them that's the tough bit.

Agreed and with the upcoming fixtures against Spurs tonight, Man City and Liverpool, our GD could take a real hammering !

That’s what spending £100m’s on wages and transfers gets you. Arsenal were the traditional flat track bullies of the PL clocking up routine wins against the PL underdogs ... until this last season or 2.

I think that’s a fair enough selection. Any team we select is up against it tonight, but there is a fair bit of experience out there so hopefully they’ll be solid and keep their heads if things start to go wrong.
