I'll tell you what, if we play as loose as that in defence against a lower prem club and still get a draw, imagine where we'll be in a couple of seasons:albion2::cheers:

Well, we didn't win it, but it was a thoroughly enjoyable game to watch.

9 points from the last 5 games and unbeaten against similar sides.

Top half of the table and clear of relegation.

We'd have taken that.

My primary takeaway is that this Shawcross character is a piece of garbage.

Apart from being the opposition player who caused us the most problems.

Shakiest defensive performance, sloppy passing yet we didn't lose.

Sky guys agree it was a penalty!?

You seem to have it too! Do you understand that it can be neither a corner nor a goal kick when the ball hasnt crossed the goal line and Murray is on the ground holding the ball in his hands? It was a definite pen, but once the ref has decided it wasn't, it is definitely not a corner or a goal kick - it has to be handball. The interviewer has just fallen into the same trap too. Collective madness here - or maybe its me!

Seven points clear with goal difference worth another point.
Take that after 12 games.
Can't help thinking that with the way they've been talked up it was inevitable that Dunk & Duffy would be found out.
Useful wake up call for them.
Poor refereeing worked out better for Stoke this time. No pen for us but Muzza could have been sent off on another day.

We must have come a long way - I'm disappointed with the draw now.
I bit before they scored I had an odd thought amble through my brain:-

'You know what Stat, we're actually pretty good'.

So then - this thing about conning a ref and being punished retrospectively. Does it only apply when it involves goals / bookings / sending-off's - or could Diouf be done for throwing himself to the ground (commentators words) towards the end there with March?
