If we were to spend even a very modest amount on a half-decent player, we would clearly be bankrupt and dropping two divisions in as many years. It's been stated on here often enough. I do wish people would start bearing this in mind.

There is clearly no middle ground between FFP-droning miserliness and Leeds/Portsmouth-style cash-splashing, followed by dropping off a cliff. Clearly.

Why would I be at the ground, I am ex season ticket holder and fan of a club which is based 350 miles north of where I now live on the south coast. I would have continued my season ticket beyond the 2 seasons I was at the Amex but the football was poor and again does not look like it has improved
