Not really just saying we should be beating bottom of the table

My comment wasn’t aimed at everyone but there is definitely some people straying in to the kind of attitude we all used to laugh at and label #TeamsLikeBrighton. In fact, ‘we should be beating’… was how half those comments used to start.

We’re missing half our team, we’re trying to balance Europe for the first time in our history and we’re still on target for our 2nd highest finish in our history.

If you read some of the comments on here you’d think we were struggling at the bottom of the league with a manager who was a couple of bad results away from the sack. If it wasn’t for an unlucky red card we walk away with 3 points and a rare clean sheet.

Some of our fans are away with the fairies.

We've only just got back from an away trip in Europe. We are riddled with injuries, and some of our remaining players are playing despite needing a rest... we go a man down and only come away with a draw, and all of a sudden people are questioning RDZ 🙈

We don't have the players or squad depth of Man City (yet), so it's a little bit pointless having unrealistic expectations about what this squad can do and especially pointless blaming the manager.

No entitlement here, but that was a shit result against a shit team. We gave them a complete gift of a point.
We made it easy for them 2nd half after a good 1st half where we should have scored more goals. Sometimes our build-up is too slow at home where the away side defend with 9-10 men and it is too congested in and around the box. Lots of sloppy passing throughout the game by us. At least we didn't lose but it feels like it.

Woeful 2nd half performance. 2 points dropped.

Ref was shocking, but so were we. Lost our heads, shape and ability to pass the ball. Our goal was a moment of greatness, all downhill from there.
I didn't think he was shocking. He let a bit go in the second-half but no howlers. He gave us a reasonable amount of protection. We lost our composure completely after the red. That was the problem.

If I'm SU I'm thinking we were up a man for over 10 minutes and couldn't score a 2nd goal.

Stop making so many changes. Why can't they play 2 games a week when they are Professional Athletes.

Don't think any manager as made this many changes at the this point of the season. Villa are managing it ok and made half the changes we have made.

Silver lining is De Zerbi won't be linked to the next job that comes up I suppose.

I don't blame RDZ or the players for this game or the recent PL run. They're doing the best they can while being pushed to the limit in terms of fatigue and injuries. I'm completely happy with the decision to prioritise winning at Ajax over today.

Nothing to do with De Zerbi is it, he set us up well. You don't take a red card on a needless challenge when we're only 1 up, Dahoud and only Dahoud put us in that position

This squad rotation thing...we seem to be the worst team off for injuries and our players look knackered. Is it working?!
