Better to put a fresh Hemed on up top to hold up play and keep men up their end.

I know why it's easy to think that.
But it's better to contain the other team for the last few minutes. Even if they have the ball.
Better to have 11 players behind the ball and give them no space to pass or move.
Attacking for the last few minutes with tired legs, can lead to a counter which (with tired bodies) isn't good.
