I know it's sometimes(!) difficult to fathom what Potter will do next, but what's this thing he's got with introducing young midfielders - but at right back. First Alzate last season, Molumby today and now Sanders as well!

Yapi must be well p***ed off!

What’s going on? We’re comfortably beating someone we should be beating. What’s going on?

Shame the feckin first XI don't find the back of the net with such frequency..:lolol:

I think some of the players tonight have made a great account of themselves, and made a good case to get in the first team.

Anyone agree? Definitely AJ and Veltman who have been a class above.

You can really see the evidence of the academy’s blueprint tonight, the young lads are all plug and play, even out of position they all know what they’re doing and they all look super comfortable.

This is excellent stuff. Decent competition for the first XI.

I reckon that strikers and possibly keepers apart that we have a pretty good PL squad. If GP goes with a mostly first team squad we should blow these Level 3 chumps away, even if fhey play their strongest team and we rest our best players.

There I’ve said it, don’t disappoint me Albion

I’m not often right with my predictions, so unashamed bounce from me

This is the future under Potter and it’s just lovely to see.

I have no doubt it’s a matter of time until our first team deliver like this.

I know GP’s made changes, but it’s great to see him take the League Cup seriously and see us score a few goals.

So many wins for the club this evening.

soz, not read thread, but, or so, if they had matt clarke it would still be nil nil :D

4-0 is a good scoreline to give us some morale, even if it is just Pompey. Hopefully we can move on to get the point/s against Newcastle too.
