very good first half all round. passing a lot more incisive and purposeful than saturday. a few nice ideas tried but not come off yet, we need to try and nab a goal early in the second half as you do suspect that marseille could counter and get a goal from one solitary attack (don’t know if that speaks to their quality or my apprehension about our defence), and then shut up shop, which is a difficult, but familiar, scenario. i do feel that ferguson could get some joy here
