That was alright. Forest never really threatened other than first 10 minutes. We looked decent. Much better second half, Norwood looks good, Murray on the scoreboard already, Knockers great as always.

Good stuff. Job done. Onwards.

We look really strong. Looked a bit like a Premiership team playing a lower league team in the cup- just too strong, technically too good. We look a couple of signings away from a very, very impressive team.

Murray missed 2 sitters. Lucky they didn't matter tonight. Worried about Stockdale though. He looked very shaken up. That **** Lansbury should have been booked but the ref lost his yellow card.

Way, way too early to start counting chickens, but I'm struggling to remember a better start in the last almost 60 years. And what a joy not to be squirming for the last twenty minutes as we hang on to a one goal lead - give me a nice 3-0 every time!

Forest are no mugs. To dispatch them 3-0 and IMHO we can play better. It makes me wet. Bring it on.
I'm just thinking much the same.

In one respect we were lucky to play them so early in the season.
I think they're either going to be very strong or Forest will suffer a Leedsesque bout of shooting themselves in the foot.

From Rams Talk:

Brighton look class if we're being honest, they look like a team who could win the league, class through the team. As for forest... They look dreadful

Very enjoyable watch on the box before an early departure to Benidorm. 2 clean sheets, top of the league, +3 GD, goals throughout the side, Bruno imperious at CB, Dunk superb, so much strength in depth in midfield/attacking positions, with clearly the intent and budget to strengthen further. very excited already for the season ahead. Well played everyone and great work Hughton and his team. Such quality in the post-match interview, saving Minto from his tragically predictable and dull questioning.

Enjoyed that tonight.. First half an hour a bit nervy, but settled down pretty well after that.. In the end it could have easily been more than 3.. The Stockdale injury at the end is a worry. Refs need to do something against players who push players into goalies.. Not the first time I have seen that..
