Last three or four games have looked as if the pressure of the unbeaten run was beginning to tell (as well as the injuries) - now in some ways the pressure is off. We've lost the unbeaten record - now to break the run of not winning by more than one goal.

Boro fans chant "We can see you sneaking out".

Little do they know that the hundreds leaving early including Mourinho are excitedly heading to the post-match party.

The injuries have really taken their toll on the Albion today. When you consider most of our best performers this season weren't on the pitch today, our loss to Middlesborough isn't really that bad. We almost had a B team playing.

Thought we'd lose today, thought early on our unbeaten run would come to an end against this lot. What gets me is the manner we've lost, we were bossed all about the park, no reply at all. Amex was like a library.
We need to learn from this, our set pieces and defending set pieces haven't been good all season, also conceding early. Bounce back and carry on, strengthen in January and beat this lot in May.

Whilst it's a poor way to lose the unbeaten record, we'll look back on the start of this season with a lot of good memories in the years to come.

Let the bedwetting commence.

Beat by the better team on the day. They lost 3-0 at Hull and have been in unbelievable form since.
We need to do the same.

FT 0-3. Slightly better in the second half but still, you know....rubbish. Boro totally shut out our attack at home. IStill, I guess we had to lose one game this season, so onward to the next undefeated run

Yes , reaction will be key now together with recovery rate of injured players and potential signings and loans.

Slow out the blocks and awful marking from set pieces, 3 goals down. That said, can only think of the save from Murphy, as clear cut chances for us. We look tired, squad is injury-ravaged. It's been a great run, but just ran out of steam against what looks like the best team in the league. Still all to play for, need some reinforcements and/or injured players back. Confident we'll kick on in the new year
