Depends how well/badly the recruitment goes. It's not a case of us being able to make a few dud additions (Dahoud, Fati, Milner, arguably Igor) and just drop a couple of league positions like this season, if we get this summer wrong we could easily be sucked into a relegation battle. Morale must be in the shitter at the moment.

We had Europe - we will always have Europe but apart from that, I want to put this whole season behind us now and not revisit it.

It may look like we’re sinking but off-load excess weight in the summer, seal some new deals to balance the squad better and relaunch in 2024/25.
