Justice.

We were the better team in the FA cup and we were the better team again tonight.

Thought it was not gonna be our day, but to win it with a last minute penalty awarded by VAR after all the ridiculous VAR decisions that have gone against us recently and all the Jammy VAR calls that go in favour of United and the rest of the ‘big 6’ this was justice for once.

What a horrible arrogant, cheating, diving team United are. Rashford, Anthony, Fernandes and Martial throwing themselves to the floor on the slightest touch.

Should’ve been either a straight red or two yellows for the 2 or 3 bookable offences for Anthony. What a disgraceful little pipsqueak he is. Diving to try and win a free kick then getting straight up when it doesn’t go his way, then he goes and kicks a Brighton player in an act of petulance and to top it off he goes crazy (and has to be restrained by his teammates) when confronted by Dunk and the Brighton players. Disgusting display of cheating, arrogance and thuggery.

This was a rare moment of justice against the big 6. Let’s enjoy it while it lasts. I’m sure it’ll be business as usual next time.

Yep. Wouldn't catch Enciso doing that.

Absolute wankathon tonight.

Sky sports doing the same post game. According to the wife they were wetting themselves about Man U during the game but all over us like a cheap suit after. That’s very slutty

Anyway back to my own personal wankathon.

I would have been a lot let stressed with a more comfortable win. But even the striking Hollywood writers couldn't have come up with a better script than today's.

Difficult for you, but for me it helps being at games.

I put that down to singing chants and abusing refs/opponents …. releasing tension. But you don’t get to hear the preplanned narrative of a crap commentator who wants Manure to win.

Great result !
I saw the result at 5am, but had a 2 and a half hour drive back from sleepyville to go to work.
Will watch replay later.
We will really rue those f'd up VAR missed points.
Sporting Life running with the rumour that RDZ will be back in Italy next season.

Lovely words from the Telegraph’s Sam Dean including:

United, Liverpool and everyone else in contention for the Champions League places must be grateful that this season ends so soon, because Brighton are on the charge and there seems to be no stopping them right now. With more time and more games, Roberto De Zerbi’s team would surely back themselves to finish in the top four. There are certainly not four better sides in the league than the Brighton team of spring 2023.

Ten Hag, of course, can only work with what he has got. But his critics will rightly point at De Zerbi’s work, on a much smaller budget and with much cheaper players, and say that more is possible from this group of players. Brighton’s midfield consisted of Mac Allister and Billy Gilmour, against Casemiro and Fred, and they dominated this game for much of the night.

Mac Allister, especially, played with a swagger and class that was beyond his opponents in red. In the second half, Casemiro and Antony decided that the only way to disrupt the Argentina midfielder was to kick him, and both could have been sent off.
