He's lucky for two reasons- firstly he's better with his feet than a man his size usually is, and secondly he's come from relative obscurity. He's not the answer if we want to progress, and if neither March nor Bernardo are rated better LWB then they need to be sold.

He also gives us the flexibility to move to 3 at the back with relative ease, which we’ve done numerous times this year.

March isn’t a left back though. God only knows why anyone ever thinks he is. His best games for us have never come in that position.

I'm not saying March is a left back. But he has the potential to be more effective at wing back for us than he does anywhere else.

To be fair, other than picking up a last minute winner against the worst Arsenal side in 20+yrs this is pretty much in keeping with how we've been playing under Potter all year. Too many changes, too much tinkering, too many players out of position, poor defensively and little creativity. Otherwise excellent.

Goal difference would say you are wrong regards the defence. The lack of striker has been our issue.

We look better with Trossard and Maupay on, although United do seem to be coasting.

Trossard has had a couple just wide, and it needed a decent save from De Gea there to deny Maupay.

GP over thinks things, just play the best players in their best positions.

I really like Potter. There’s a good manager in there, but it’s clear he’s still learning. He’s started far too many matches with the wrong team this year and he’s had to correct his own mistakes too often as a result.

Saying that, I think it’s clear we don’t have many of the types of player he’d like to work with. We lack pace in key areas, for example, and some of our better players ie Duffy, don’t suit his system whatsoever.

Our corners are bloody woeful aren’t they. ‘If’ they beat the first man I cannot remember the last time we won a header even if it was to head it into the stands.

I don’t think Duffy has been helped by the fact that Montoya is woeful to be fair, we all know his limitation on the ball but he’s a good defender, been left very exposed today.
