Quite a lot of pessimism on their Blue Moon forum; I presume that Citeh fans are so used to winning that a couple of bad results feels like a major crisis, and a lot of them are getting their excuses in early citing injuries. Shame we have key players out injured too, but I still reckon this match could be a belter...

Newmarket.
I'd love to be optimistic, but most times whenever we have the chance to capitalise against a weakened team, a bottom dweller or someone who's on a run of poor form we just shit the bed.
We never seem to have the absolute fight and determination in us.
Sadly I don't expect anything different from us today but being eternally hopeful I'm looking for us to win by at least a couple of goals.

The problem with midweek CL football is all these Sunday kick-offs. I can barely contain my excitement, but have decided to ignore all football today, go for a long hike and then hopefully the time will pass quickly. Roll on tomorrow! We're gonna sneak a win I reckon! Dunk and Minteh with the goals - you heard it here first. 😉

Rubbish throw away comment

Just the other week we scored 3 to overturn 2 goals down v spurs and then went away to Newcastle and ground out a backs to the wall 1-0 through fight and determination - they hadn't lost at home for ages
Not quite what I said was it?

All this talk of man city's injury crisis is rubbish isn't it?

I've just had a look at their predicted team and it's:

Ederson
Gvardiol
Ake
Akanji
Lewis
Doku
Silva
Kovacic
Nunes
Foden
Haaland

With Silvinho, De Bruyne, Gundogan and Walker on the bench.

For an injury crisis that's not a bad selection of players to choose from is it?

We're still going to beat them 17-0 but if they're on the ropes it's not because they're down to the bare bones...

Just for comparison they have 5 players injured or doubtful. We have eight.
