There's a big difference between playing out from the back and dicking about in your own penalty area.
Yes, one is a knowledgeable analysis of the way modern football should be played, the other is what sh|t ignorant dinosaurs shout at the players to stop doing it. Or so we are told by those with access to said knowledgeable analysis anyway.

I think I've got that right now ................................................

I don't watch much football other than the Albion, so haven't seen City other than our earlier game against them. They are bloody good aren't they - regardless of how careless we've been.
Easy to be good when you've ALLEGEDLY fiddled the books and bought all the best players with a neverending puddle of oil money

On the whole mid table is a fine achievement this season . No problem there .
But we are dog sh*t at the moment .
I worry for next season , going by recent performances .

Notice the only time Pep ever got heated v us was when we beat them 3-2 . He knows easy 3 points every time against us and a few boos at half time as well

we really need some pace in the team for next season. Except for Lamptey (when fit), Pedro and Mitoma we really lack any anywhere. Especially in midfield and defence

Steele wasn’t the one who lost the ball, if there is a fault then it’s the players who should have given Barco a passing option.

Yes Steele could have done things differently, and yeah maybe could have punted it upfield. It doesn’t make everything his fault thought.

We paid £20m for the current Dutch international who to be fair has done well and hasn’t conceded more than two goals in his recent run of games. Why are we watching one of the worst keepers in the league? I will never get it.

Going to just say it. Sick of RDZ tactics, they’ve been figured out and he’s got no plan B at all. This is awful
That's the worst thing: he really does have no Plan B. The gung ho tactics are the reason that the Europa League tie against Roma was over after the first game.

Positives:

Barco looks a lot better than previous cameos suggested, despite his horrendous error for the third. Pure inexperience.

Negatives:

We’ve conceded another early(ish) goal. Followed by a second (deflected) goal, and a third of our own making. We’re probably not winning tonight.

Despite having Pedro and Welbeck on the pitch, we look pretty toothless.

Gross is not the man to put in a foot race against anyone.

There’s a level of quality in the Man City team that we simply don’t have across the squad. Some of our players are underdone, some have gone a bit past their best. I’m not sure (outside of Pedro and Mitoma) who in our squad would be wanted by other Premier League teams. Perhaps Pervis or Bart if they hit a patch of form, perhaps Enciso (for his potential rather than now)

I just feel like there’s a lot of our squad who are two seasons from first team ready, and a handful who are one season past.

I found that love in, in the tunnel, before the game unsettling. He's your opponent for the next 2 hours. What the f*** has happened to you? Our team have come out and not been at them at all.
Yep. Too busy doing training ground passing around at the back.

Total crap.

To many players no where near the required levels. Barco, Moder, Veltman, all shouldn’t be starting for a genuine European chasing team
