There are often freak results in the first few games.
I think we will settle down and with a bit more strengthening, we can do ok.

If dunk gets injured, You may need to go and track down Gary chivers , Malta seagull

Mancs full of superstars, but not a team I reckon will win the league. they had to have a hand scoring two goals against us for christ sake!
Shame about the errors and poor rebounds, nothing to get upset over. The league is split into leagues within the league, Mancs are out of our league at the moment. Molester...sorry leicester next, we can do them

Losing 0-2 at home to Manchester City or losing 0-3 at home to Huddersfield?

Things could be much worse!

Personally i think losing 2 nil to this team is a reault. They will thump a few 6 nil this season! The real season starts next week!

Can't play 4-4-1-1 with Hemed up front I'm afraid. Too slow
Can't play 4-4-1-1 with 11 players in touching distance of our own penalty area!

I know CH knows far more about football than I do, and there are at least a million reasons why he is a top manager and I'm not, but the one thing I really disagree with him is about leaving one player far up the field. Not just at corners - though that is a particular grievance - but one attacking player who isn't ten yards inside our own half, please! At least it means that two of our opponents will be tied down watching him.

Plus points:
1. Defence was brilliant.
2. Fans were awesome.
3. Spirit was there, just needs a bit of a nudge.
4. Solly March, Pascal Gross and Bruno were outstanding.

Negatives:
1. Midfield a tad sloppy today.
2. Need more pace upfront.
3. Please no negativity on NSC.

Other than that, we are Premier League, and long may that stay :albion2:

True. They struggled to beat toothless newcomers, who haven't got their squad together just yet.

ManUre will, unfortunately, win the league. Mourinho knows how to win dirty, snuff out skilled opponents, kill games, whatever it takes.

I would just add that Dunk looked good and his long passing superb.

Hünemeier?

Oh yeah, was only kidding . Goldson and huni would both be good replacements if needed.
The defence isn't the issue on today's evidence. I thought all four were generally solid.
