The problem appears to be no pacey striker. If we had a pacey striker, I think this would have been a different game. Unfortunately, we've looked like we're the away team all game.

Well, congratulations to the lads from me - they kept Citeh out for long enough for my grandaughter to be born while we were still level pegging at 0-0!
He's worked hard but given the ball away to much - one being for goal.
Granted it's against city.

I've got radio commentary on with Sam Matterface and Stuart Pearce. They've been very fair throughout. Their comments before after the winners have been:
1. We lack an out and out striker with pace, making it all so easy for Man C. They spotted that Kompany has struggled for pace throughout, but we haven't got any hope of being able to expoit it.
2. In PL in recent seasons, if a team make a mistake in transition, with the numbers (including midfielders behind the ball), it's invariably a counter attack goal. Stephens might have made the mistake, but where were the midfield bodies behind him assisting our defence?
3. Today's game has been a classic example of a training match. One team defending, one attacking.

Mental - two mistakes have lost this game.
Not every team has an Augero to take advantage.

We're going to get some pastings this season, but we won't get one in this game against a top side in Europe, not just in the Premier League.
