I felt quite sorry for him against Wolves - it was poor, but 'one of those things', and defended him on here.

as much as it pains me, Liverpool certainly deserve the win. One of the few teams that never need to cheat. players dont collapse on the ball feigning injury, dont waste excessive time when the are holding a one goal lead with only 10 minutes to play. oh well UTA

I can forgive him for being tired, he's not had a bad match on the whole. The trouble is after Saturday, all eyes are on him and if he keeps doing things like that, the pressure is not going to fall away.

The minimum is to work hard. I don’t care how out of form or how someone is ability wise, the bare minimum in any job is to work hard. Let alone a 50k+ per week footballer. Chris O’Grady was absolutely rubbish but no one can ever say he didn’t work his socks off. Really not keen at all on Weiffer.
