Lewis Dunk scores from a free-kick, yes free-kick, as he converts a low cross by March with his feet. Although Liverpool should have defended better.

Solly is a great LB. He'd have played for England if he'd played there more often. Great driving run for the free kick.

He kept more clean sheets than Sanchez last year in less games so that “fact” you said isn’t actually a fact. The Everton game last year was the only game I can recall where he had a really bad game. I feel the defence has a lot of faith in him and if you’ve ever been to the games you can hear steele shouting all game. I respect your opinion as everyone is free to have them but I feel you’re massively underestimating him, if he came in for Bart’s price tag I don’t feel like this conversation would be happening.

Read it back and work it out. Trying to suggest anyone with a different opinion to your own is dictated in their opinion by variables out of his control. Anyway, we’ll get past that.

We conceded more goals per game with him in the team. So yes, it is a fact.

And I’ve already said I’m yet to see Bart produce anything of note. He worries me too. Anyway, you’ve done it again. Suggested my opinion is dictated by variables outside of Steele’s control. It’s not. I just don’t think he’s very good.

Incidentally, I rated Sanchez, albeit I recognise he made 2-3 big mistakes last year and had dropped off from the previous year’s performances and wasn’t as good with his feet as Steele - Sanchez cost us next to nothing. Similarly, I preferred Sanchez to Ryan and who cost much more than Ryan had. The price tag has nothing to do with this, basically, so you’d be better leaving that out of the conversation because it continues to weaken your point.
