I'll take 2-2. At the beginning of the day i was bricking it over a repeat of the Villa game given recent VAR controversies and Liverpool's generally decent form. Aside two pretty shambolic goals given away, that was a good performance, something to build upon.

VVD handball certainly could have been given but certainly not today against Liverpool.

Terrible from Verbruggen - 3 unmarked defenders in front of him but he plays it long and concedes a throw in - we could have had another break.

And when they're marked he plays it short

A bitter sweet result.

Relief that we were able to come back and salvage a point, and survived a late Liverpool onslaught.

But disappointing we gifted them those two goals with woeful defending, and Joao Pedro missing that opportunity to win the game.
